Senior Airport Operations Control Centre Manager
Job Summary
The Senior Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) Manager ensures 24/7 integrated oversight of airport operations, leading the coordination, monitoring, and real-time control of airside, terminal, and landside activities. The role drives operational performance, ensures rapid decision-making, and maintains situational awareness across all stakeholders to achieve safe, efficient, and seamless airport operations in alignment with ICAO, IATA, and local aviation authority standards.
Job Responsibilities 1
Lead AOCC daily operations to ensure unified coordination and continuous operational awareness across all airport functions.
Monitor key performance indicators such as on-time performance (OTP), resource utilization, and turnaround efficiency, initiating corrective action when deviations occur.
Oversee the implementation of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) processes to enhance predictability, capacity, and throughput.
Coordinate with ATC, airlines, ground handling, and terminal teams to resolve conflicts and maintain smooth flow of aircraft, passengers, and baggage.
Supervise the use of operational systems (AODB, RMS, FIDS, BHS, GMS) ensuring data integrity and information accuracy.
Lead the management of irregular operations (IROPS) by activating contingency plans, managing communications, and restoring normal operations efficiently.
Provide real-time analysis and recommendations to the AOCC Director on operational status, bottlenecks, and resource requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements across all operational functions monitored by the AOCC.
Develop and mentor AOCC duty managers and controllers, building high-performance capability and decision-making confidence.
Liaise with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure collaborative response during disruptions, incidents, or planned events impacting airport operations.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of airport systems, A-CDM frameworks, and operational interdependencies.
Excellent situational awareness, analytical thinking, and decision-making in time-critical environments.
Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Competence in using performance dashboards, resource-management systems, and incident-tracking tools.
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access)
Job Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
