Job Summary
The Senior Automation and Robotics Engineer leads in the designing of an end-to-end stable, scalable and reusable RPA solution design that is within best practices agreed upon in the organization with the aim to lead the process optimization keeping in mind the performance of the delivered solution. The position overseas the overall RPA workflow solution design and providing support to the creation/update of the RPA solution architecture design document.
Job Responsibilities 1
Review RPA code, ensure compliance with licensing requirements, and manage various process components like robots, schedules, configuration files, assets, and queues.
Document processes in Process Definition Documents (PDD) and Development Specification Documents (DSD).
Assist in defining business and functional requirements to design efficient RPA workflow architecture.
Provide support for RPA prerequisites implementation, IT environment setup, software installation, and testing.
Explain proposed architecture to RPA developers and oversee development progress.
Control RPA solution designs and the structure of robotic artifacts.
Review developed workflows before production deployment to ensure they meet development standards.
Build, design, develop, and implement RPA systems using tools like UI Automation and Blue Prism.
Design automation processes according to operational needs and resolve automation issues through scripting and coding.
Collaborate with Business Process Owners and cross-functional teams to document business requirements, perform ROI analysis, and consider change management implications for new RPA processes.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in automation technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), industrial robots, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs) to design and develop advanced automation solutions.
Strong understanding of robotics engineering principles, including kinematics, dynamics, and control systems, to optimize robotic performance and efficiency.
Experience in programming languages like Python, C++, or Java, as well as automation software platforms such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, to develop and deploy automation scripts and workflows.
Knowledge of sensor technologies, computer vision, and machine learning algorithms to enable robots to perceive and interact with their environment autonomously.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility, and implement innovative automation solutions that streamline processes and improve productivity.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
