Job Summary

The Senior BIM Manger is responsible for delivering the strategy of the business’s BIM technology and promoting all benefits of digital ways of working with BIM across the organization. He/ She will Set up and implement the BIM requirement across the organization and the projects. He/ She implement all the requirements related to BIM and digital management. 

Job Responsibilities 1

Act on the behalf go the organisation as point of contact for all BIM related matter.

Acting as the intermediary between designers, clients, and architects so that projects remain efficient and effective.

Define the budget for the BIM service and lead the procurement of the BIM service provider.

Enforce the impalement of BIM standard such ISO. 19650.

Develop the communication protocol and the exchange information requirement.

 Develop, implement, and monitor the project BIM strategy management plan.

Ensuring that BIM execution plans are produced and maintained for each project.

implement the Common Data Environment (CDE) as per ISO 19650.

Define, implement, and monitor the EIR across the projects.

 Guide the team in the extraction of shop drawings, BOQ and other deliverables from the BIM.

Job Responsibilities 2

Manage the process of model audit and set up the model accuracy checklists.

Set up the procedure for BIM deliverables and define the LOD for each deliverable.

implement and the COBie Design to Handover stages.

Set up the procedure for the 4D and 5D production and digital design review.

Define, implement the digital twinning strategy.

Define the coding system for ABS and AIR. 

Share the project BIM meetings to identify project tasks and resolve any rising issues.

Monitor the progress of BIM development and deliverables.

Develop reports for senior management, to identify and measure BIM implementation.

Recommend and overseen the procurement of workstations for sufficient and effective hardware.

Provide BIM Training & conduct workshops for Supporting the career development, coaching, and mentoring of the staff.

Strong IT and MS Office literacy, with extensive experience on the different BIM software packages.

Job Experience

Minimum 15 years of total experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, architecture, design, or related field.

Minimum 5 years in GCC (preferred)
