Job Summary

The Senior BIM (Building Information Management) Manger is responsible for delivering the strategy of the business’s BIM technology and promoting all benefits of digital ways of working with BIM across the organization. The role will set up and implement the BIM requirement across the organization and the projects, implement all the requirements related to BIM and digital management. 

Job Responsibilities 1

Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and protocols across all design and technical projects.

Ensure alignment of BIM practices with overall project goals and organizational objectives.

Coordinate BIM activities across multiple design and technical teams.

Oversee the creation, maintenance, and updating of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of BIM data and models.

Establish and enforce BIM standards, including adherence to industry best practices and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with BIM standards and protocols.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BIM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize project delays.

Stay updated on emerging BIM technologies and tools to enhance project efficiency.

Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of BIM models and data.

Conduct regular reviews and inspections of BIM models to identify and address potential issues.

Oversee the integration of BIM with other design and construction technologies, such as CAD, GIS, and project management software.

Ensure interoperability between different software platforms and tools.

Communicate BIM processes, progress, and updates to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.

Act as the primary point of contact for BIM-related inquiries and concerns.

Manage BIM-related aspects of project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring alignment with overall project schedules and financial constraints.

Prepare and present regular reports on BIM activities, project status, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.

Understanding and implementation of industry standards like ISO 19650.

Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources for BIM-related tasks.

Strong skills in working with multidisciplinary teams and communicating BIM processes clearly.

Advanced abilities to analyze and resolve design and technical challenges in BIM models.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
