Job Summary

    The Senior Business Development Director determines the long-term strategic objectives of the Business Development Department (BDD) in conjunction with the short and long term objectives of the organization. Ensures business growth through directing and managing business development activities to strategize approaches, technical pre-qualifications and quotations for the competitive tender projects.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the Company's market presence.

    Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to drive revenue growth.

    Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals for clients.

    Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

    Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats or opportunities.

    Analyze sales performance and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

    Prepare and present reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.

    Represent the Company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge/experience of working in a commercial environment experience of networking to increase business

opportunities

Experience of working within a target driven business

Knowledge of the principles and practices of management and economic development procedures

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
