Job Summary
The Senior Camp Supervisor is responsible to oversee the operations and activities of a camp, ensuring the well-being, safety, and enjoyment of campers and staff. They are responsible for managing day-to-day camp operations, coordinating programs and activities, and supervising camp counselors and support staff. Additionally, Senior Camp Supervisors may develop and implement camp policies and procedures, maintain communication with parents or guardians, and handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping. Their primary goal is to create a positive and inclusive camp environment, promote camper engagement and development, and ensure that all activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.
Job Responsibilities 1
Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the camp, including scheduling activities, managing staff assignments, and ensuring adherence to camp policies and procedures.
Provide guidance, support, and direction to camp counselors and support staff, including training, mentoring, and addressing performance issues as needed.
Develop and implement camp programs, activities, and special events that promote camper engagement, personal growth, and skill development.
Ensure the safety and well-being of campers and staff by conducting regular safety inspections, enforcing safety protocols, and addressing any health or safety concerns promptly.
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding camper progress, concerns, and important updates, maintaining positive relationships and addressing any inquiries or issues.
Handle administrative tasks such as managing camper registrations, maintaining camper records, and overseeing camp budgets and expenditures.
Foster a positive and inclusive camp environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and cooperation among campers and staff.
Respond to emergencies and incidents as needed, implementing appropriate protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and security of all camp participants.
Collaborate with camp leadership and other stakeholders to evaluate camp programs and operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to enhance the overall camp experience.
Serve as a role model for campers and staff, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for the camp's mission and values.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of local employment laws/regulations sufficient to analyze proposed personnel policies
Knowledge of management and supervision of others.
Good written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of facilities
maintenance.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
