Job Summary

Responsible for engineering, Technical Support, Testing & Commissioning, Inspection, and Handing over in coordination with the team lead commissioning engineer and contractor team and as per company Quality and Customer Care standards of fire and life safety systems.

Job Responsibilities 1

Responsible for controlling and performing the testing and commissioning work of assigned projects in the process as per the terms of the agreement and contract.

Making sure that all the requirements with respect to testing, and commissioning aspects of fire and life safety systems of the projects are fully covered and implemented as per the project requirements.

Review the shop drawings and confirm that nothing is missing as per specifications mentioned in the agreement/contracts and other project documents.

Engineering at the main office and co-ordinate with technical/engineering team at the main office.

Maintain local authority specifications/standards and requirements.

Project coordination as necessary, especially the mimic panels, smoke panels, and life safety systems any kind of calculations, schematic diagram, shop drawing, C &E Matrix etc.

Job Responsibilities 2

Work closely with the FA management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation to comply with local QCDD regulations and international codes and standards.

Ensure work complies with codes, NFPA standards, Regulations & permits.

Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety and environmental management system

Developing and implementing comprehensive work plans and procedures.

Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety and environmental management system

Keep logs and report on daily activities to comply with local authorities.

Follow maintenance/ testing and commissioning procedures and ensure implementation of those procedures through the Commissioning team to comply with local QCDD regulations and international codes and standards.

Ensure work complies with codes, NFPA standards, Regulations & permits.

Additional Responsibilities 3

Job Knowledge & Skills

QCDD (certified fire engineer).

Fire systems manufacture certification (Carrier Fire Systems such as EST3 and EST4)

Project software like Auto-cad, and Primavera and high level of computer office skills.

NFPA 72 , NFPA 101 .

Job Experience

6+ years’ experience in fire and life safety systems in a commissioning environment.

2 year's in GCC

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering
