Job Summary

The Senior Concession Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture facilities. The role leads a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the plant while adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.

Job Responsibilities 1

Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians involved in the investment of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture facilities. 

Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and efficiency of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture operations.

Oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture projects ensuring compliances.

Coordinate with other departments, including procurement, business development, finance, and environmental compliance, to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Provide technical expertise and guidance on pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture issues to resolve complex engineering problems and troubleshoot equipment failures.

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture operations and identify areas for improvement.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture and incorporate best practices into the operations.

Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture team.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant tools.

In-depth knowledge of pipeline/oil and gas/powerplant/petrochemical/infrastrusture facilities. engineering principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations relevant to power and utilities operations.

Leadership and team management experience.

Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship, with a passion for excellence in engineering and operations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar applications.

Ability to travel to project sites and work in challenging environments as needed.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 10 year(s) working experience, 8 year(s) in a relevant supervisory position, 2 year (s) GCC and Central Asia is a plus

Education

Master's degree in Engineering or any related field
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related field
