Job Summary
As a leader in the field of otolaryngology, Senior ENT Consultant will provide expert consultation, perform advanced surgical procedures, and ensure high-quality care for patients with disorders related to the ears, nose, throat, head, and neck. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team of specialists, collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, and contribute to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities 1
Lead and supervise a team of ENT surgeons, audiologists, speech therapists, and nurses.
Provide expert consultation on complex ENT cases, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices in otolaryngology.
Perform advanced ENT surgical procedures, including but not limited to tympanoplasty, septoplasty, sinus surgery, and head and neck surgeries.
Manage surgical emergencies and complications, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize advanced surgical techniques, such as minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgeries, when appropriate.
Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of ENT disorders, including hearing loss, nasal congestion, throat infections, and head and neck cancers.
Conduct thorough examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret imaging studies as needed.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating patient preferences and holistic care principles.
Mentor and educate junior ENT surgeons, residents, fellows, and medical students in otolaryngology.

Conduct educational seminars, case reviews, and participate in conferences and workshops.
Stay updated with advancements in ENT research, surgical techniques, and treatment modalities.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with research teams on clinical studies, publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
Implement evidence-based practices and contribute to the development of clinical pathways and guidelines.
Assist in developing departmental policies, protocols, and clinical pathways.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and safety protocols.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.

Job Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as Consultant ENT Surgeon (Mandatory).
Preferred: Minimum 1 year’s work experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
