Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and optimizing electrical systems' performance. They lead project teams, provide technical expertise, and manage project timelines and budgets to deliver high-quality electrical installations and contribute to the success of MEP operations.
Job Responsibilities 1
Lead the planning and execution of electrical projects within MEP operations, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in electrical system design, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations, and optimizing system performance and efficiency.
Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and resources while maintaining project profitability.
Lead and mentor project teams, including electrical engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing progress updates, and resolving issues to ensure client satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of electrical installations, conducting inspections and quality checks throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively identify and address schedule risks and delays to ensure timely project completion and delivery.
Administer project contracts, including subcontractor agreements, change orders, and procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and legal requirements.
Identify potential project risks, assess their impact and probability, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and as-built drawings, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, management, and regulatory authorities.

Job Knowledge & Skills
In-depth understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards applicable to MEP projects.
Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Mastery of electrical system design, installation, and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience in complex electrical projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
