Job Summary

The IT Senior Manager is responsible to evaluate and implement technology solutions to support the fundraising and administrative support services. This is a hands-on position with responsibilities that range from strategic and long-range planning and implementation of a system-wide technology solution, to providing one-on-one, and group training and support. The position is responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of the IT infrastructure and Systems.

Job Responsibilities 1

Develops and communicates a vision and roadmap for an optimized and productive business operation at the group based on the business objectives.

Evaluates, recommend and drive the implementation and rollout of technology and tools based on the defined roadmap.

Is responsible for operating a variety of business systems such as communications and collaboration, support, and operational functions

Leads the efforts across the company to standardize, harmonize and automate business processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Owns the system IT systems security and compliance. Partnering with the Security Officer develops and manages security controls, and disaster recovery planning, and implements technology training, IT, and business policies and procedures.

Ensures compliance with all applicable security standards including preparing all required compliance documentation for IT-related audits, security assessments, and vulnerability remediation.

Partnering with the engineering and RandD teams identifies and implement solutions to facilitate the product release process. - Develops, tracks, and reports operational SLA and metrics.

Monitors IT system operations, manages and resolves incidents according to the defined SLA Hires, leads, and mentors talented IT professionals.

Develops and maintains strong relationships with service providers and vendors to manage third-party systems and services.

Develops and leads a service desk process to support on-site and remote users.

Manages IT budget and expenses.

Provide detailed progress reports and project updates in a timely and accurate manner.

Interfaces with end-customers to ascertain requirements and develop solution-based approaches that maximize end-customer benefit most cost-effectively.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Information systems hardware and software.

Knowledge of Computer networks, network administration, and network installation.

Thorough knowledge of advanced principles, theories, techniques, and methods of information system analysis and programming.

Understanding and experience with managing data networks and telecommunications systems.

Understanding and experience with managing IT infrastructure including systems, personal computing, help desk, servers, and printers.

Proven experience in supervising or managing and developing an effective team in a complex environment.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
