Title: Senior IT Systems Administrator
Job Summary
The Senior IT Systems Administrator ensures effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operations, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. Participates in technical research to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and industry best practices.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and implement project planning, studied and implementations to finalized projects and tasks in the agreed timeframe with the necessary quality and quantity and to enhance the Company desktop environment.
Install, configure and maintain Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft active Directory, oversee and troubleshoot issues and related to IIS Webserver, Windows Sever and applications using Windows OS based resource kit and improved third party tools.
Install and configure the Cloud Management application for the provider (for example, AWS, O365, Azure, or VMware)
Resolve incidents tickets as escalated by IT Service desk within agreed service level targets.
Perform changes (addition/modification/deletion) IT infrastructure in a controlled way as to minimized service disruption due to changes.
Propose and design the state of the art desktop technologies through research and evaluation of market offerings to keep the Company desktop environment up to date with latest technologies.
Conduct the feasibility study, business area analysis and develop system specification for corporate system.
Develop and analyze highly complex standards, thresholds and recommendations to maximize system performance.
Conduct capacity planning reviews with the management and approves capacity plans formulated by less experience personnel.
Perform and assist in planning large scale infrastructure implementation such as VMware/Hyper-V upgrades and virtualizing physical servers.

Perform IIS Webserver administration and manage firewalls.
Create and manage business processes/procedures (QMS) by correct documentation to achieve standard approach to work practices and technologies.
Coordinate activities related to projects through appropriate planning to provide excellent services.
Provides efficient support through appropriate escalation and resolution of issues to achieve user’s satisfaction.
Conduct training for the technical staff and users by developing training material and conducting presentations to enhance Company awareness on IT systems.
Communicate findings through the appropriate writing and presentation techniques to sell new ideas to supervisors and users.
Perform root cause analysis for reoccurring incidents and identify suitable solutions and permanently fix the problems.
Assist the IT Infrastructure Manager in identifying areas for development or recurring problems that may have an impact on the productivity and effectiveness of IT Infrastructure systems.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
