Job Summary

    The Senior Maintenance Manager oversees the maintenance program for assigned area. Assists in the overall administration, management, planning organizing, and staffing of the division/program in the enforcement and implementation of all policies and procedures. Assists in and may oversee new building construction and major remodeling projects. Ensures that jobs are completed efficiently and within regulatory guidelines and projected deadlines.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities.

    Oversee the maintenance team, including technicians, contractors, and vendors, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety standards.

    Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.

    Coordinate with production, operations, and other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks, address urgent issues, and support operational needs.

    Monitor maintenance metrics, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness.

    Manage maintenance budgets, expenditures, and contracts, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and compliance with financial targets.

    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.

    Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance maintenance efficiency, productivity, and safety.

    Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex maintenance issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

    Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term maintenance strategies, capital investment plans, and continuous improvement initiatives to support organizational objectives.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of safety and legal requirements, regulations, and all applicable laws. Know how to diagnose cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventive and corrective maintenance.

Knowledge of basic principles and practices of engineering and building/road maintenance construction as well as vehicle and equipment repair.

Know how to read, interpret, develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specification for system or equipment modifications or expansion and directs personnel performing routine installation and maintenance duties.

Knowledge of plans, directs and records periodical electrical testing and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA)
