Job Summary

    The Senior Nurse is responsible to provide nursing care and management to patients. The role is also responsible to guide and direct junior nurses and nursing students to ensure that the best care is provided. Responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to patients and families.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to protocols.

    Oversee the development and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.

    Conduct health and safety assessments, including risk assessments and audits, to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.

    Collaborate with occupational health professionals to manage employee health programs, including vaccinations, screenings, and wellness initiatives.

    Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid treatment as needed, ensuring prompt and appropriate care for injured or ill employees.

    Monitor and evaluate health and safety performance indicators, analyzing trends and recommending corrective actions to improve outcomes.

    Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.

    Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence of accidents and injuries.

    Develop and deliver health promotion and education initiatives to raise awareness of occupational health and safety issues among employees.

    Serve as a resource and advisor to management and staff on health and safety matters, providing expertise and guidance to support a culture of safety excellence.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Advanced understanding of nursing practices, healthcare protocols, and patient care standards.

Proficiency in health and safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and emergency response procedures.

Strong leadership and team management abilities to supervise nursing staff and coordinate health and safety initiatives.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with healthcare professionals, employees, and management.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess complex situations, make informed decisions, and implement effective solutions.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education
