Job Summary

    The Senior Retail Sales Assistant is responsible to promote products and services to clients and negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits. The role ensures that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service. 

Job Responsibilities 1

    Ensure that all customers receive excellent service through direct salesmanship, and prompt and courteous service.  

    Complete sales transactions on the POS and manage cash.

    Build strong relation with the customers and offering new products and promotional items.

    Complete each transaction in a quick and efficient manner.  

    Greet each customer that comes into the store in a warm manner.  

    Identify customer requirements. 

    Prepare merchandise for display. 

    Assist customers with purchase decisions.  

    Assist in physical inventory counts.  

    Implement all visual merchandising standards.  

    Set up merchandise on the sales floor. 

    Make sure that customers receive receipts on all purchases.  

    Helping customers try on or fit merchandise. 

    Watch out for loss prevention through leakage and theft.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Thorough knowledge of retail sales principles, including customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers, providing assistance and addressing inquiries.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail software to process transactions and manage inventory.

Ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate product displays, pricing, and inventory management.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
