Senior Supply Chain Planning Officer
Job Summary
The Senior Supply Chain Planning Officer will oversee and manage supply chain activities with a focus on planning and procurement to ensure efficient and cost effectiveness in support of the Company's hospitality services. The role involves strategic planning, supply chain optimization, and collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely availability of goods and services, maintaining the balance between quality and cost and improving overall supply chain performance.
Job Responsibilities 1
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with Company goals and market trends, focusing on cost reduction, efficiency improvements and risk mitigation.
Conduct demand planning and forecasting to ensure inventory levels meet operational requirements without excessive surplus.
Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners and internal departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations from procurement to delivery.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
Oversee and manage procurement processes, including selection, ordering, and evaluation of goods and services.
Implement and utilize supply chain management tools and systems to optimize operations, forecast demand, and track inventory levels.
Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement and supply chain strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure strategic partnerships and operational excellence.
Monitor and report on supply chain performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of supply chain management principles, concepts, and best practices.
Knowledge of demand forecasting techniques and methodologies.
Familiarity with inventory management strategies, including inventory optimization and safety stock management.
Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Knowledge of production planning and scheduling methodologies.
Familiarity with logistics and transportation management, including routing, scheduling, and carrier selection.
Understanding of risk management principles and methodologies within the supply chain.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
