Job Summary

The Technical Coordiantor arranges, organizes, and checks the processes and documents needed in tender preparation and pre-qualification in terms of Technical Package and ensures they are submitted in accordance with client specifications and requirements. Coordinates with other Departments and form the key point of contact within in the technical team.

Job Responsibilities 1

Monitors and verifies all technical and planning main projects requirements.

Notifies the management of major delays in the projects and the status of progress.

Schedules monitoring and reporting of design projects.

Supports tendering department in the preparation of technical proposals for tenders.

Communicates with the Consultant/Client in order to get an approval on the baseline schedule and arranges for a revised schedule whenever it is required.

Supports projects in proper coordination preparation of the appropriate methods in delay analysis.

Manages and interprets tender requirement and responsible for overall Tender Engineering works such as “specifications, drawings and other Technical matters/ Prequalification.

Ensures a comprehensive tender preparation and all tender submission is being met for all tender documents submitted.

Job Responsibilities 2

Ensures that is no deviations occur for client specifications mentioned.

Responsible for the coordination with other Departments and form the key point of contact within in the technical team.

Ensures all communication is tracked and accounted for on all occasions.

Ensures daily/ weekly/ monthly follow-ups with Clients and Departmental Representatives as and when required.

Follows up subcontractors technical submittals / logs in order to assure compliance with procedures and meeting the time schedule.

Monitors the document control and ensure that IMS procedures are well implemented and applied.

Coordinates with MEP department, site team, QA/QC, safety, logistic, planning and commercial department and provide necessary technical support once required.

Coordinates with Authorities to facilitate Authority approval.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of Specification and Standard.Knowledge on Engineering and Design Works.Familiarity with Planning practices and the associated software such as Advanced Primavera 6.Knowledge in building construction planning and scheduling.Strong knowledge in preparation of EOT claims and delay analysis.Strong cost control knowledge.Advanced level of knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup work processes.Strong knowledge in Road Design.Tender Technical preparation preferred.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
