Job Summary

    The Senior Technical Coordinator arranges, organizes, and checks the processes and documents needed in tender preparation and pre-qualification in terms of Technical Package and ensures they are submitted in accordance with client specifications and requirements. Coordinates with other Departments and form the key point of contact within in the technical team.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Monitor and verifies all technical and planning main projects requirements.

    Notify the management of major delays in the projects and the status of progress.

    Schedule monitoring and reporting of design projects.

    Support tendering department in the preparation of technical proposals for tenders.

    Communicate with the Consultant/Client in order to get an approval on the baseline schedule and arranges for

    a revised schedule whenever it is required.

    Support projects in proper coordination preparation of the appropriate methods in delay analysis.

    Manage and interpret tender requirement and responsible for overall Tender Engineering works such as

    “specifications, drawings and other Technical matters/ Prequalification.

    Ensure a comprehensive tender preparation and all tender submission is being met for all tender documents

    submitted.

    Ensure that is no deviations occur for client specifications mentioned.

    Responsible for the coordination with other Departments and form the key point of contact within in the technical

    team.

    Ensure all communication is tracked and accounted for on all occasions.

    Ensure daily/ weekly/ monthly follow-ups with Clients and Departmental Representatives as and when

    required.

    Follow up subcontractors technical submittals / logs in order to assure compliance with procedures and

    meeting the time schedule.

    Monitor the document control and ensure that IMS procedures are well implemented and applied.

    Coordinate with MEP department, site team, QA/QC, safety, logistic, planning and commercial department and

    provide necessary technical support once required.

    Coordinate with Authorities to facilitate Authority approval.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools to oversee technical aspects of projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards.

Comprehensive understanding of architectural and engineering principles to coordinate technical requirements and resolve design challenges effectively.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills to manage interdisciplinary teams, facilitate collaboration, and align technical coordination efforts with project goals.

In-depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and quality assurance throughout the design process.

Strong problem-solving abilities to anticipate and address technical issues, optimize project outcomes, and support the successful delivery of complex design projects.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education
