Senior Testing and Commissioning Manager
Job Summary
Responsible for planning, and directing all Engineering, Technical Support, Testing & Commissioning, Inspection, and Handing over in coordination with the Commissioning Manager and as per company Quality and Customer Care standards of fire and life safety systems.
Job Responsibilities 1
Responsible for planning and controlling testing and commissioning work of assigned projects and jobs in process as per the terms of agreement and contract.
Making sure that all the requirements with respect to testing, and commissioning aspects of fire and life safety systems of the projects are fully covered and implemented as per the project requirements.
Work closely with the FA management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
Developing and implementing comprehensive work plans and procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety, and environmental management system
Keep logs and report on daily activities to comply with local authorities.
Job Responsibilities 2
Develop and follow testing and commissioning procedures and ensure implementation of those procedures through the Commissioning team to comply with local QCDD regulations and international codes and standards
Ensure work complies with codes, NFPA standards, Regulations & permits.
Ensure strict compliance with quality, health and safety and environmental management system
Review the shop drawings and confirm that nothing is missing as per specifications mentioned in the agreement/contracts and other project documents.
Engineering at the main office and co-ordinate with technical/engineering team at the main office.
Maintain local authority specifications/standards and requirements.
Project coordination as necessary, especially the mimic panels, smoke panels, any kind of calculations, schematic diagram, shop drawing, C &E Matrix etc.

Job Knowledge & Skills
UPDA (engineering registration certificate).
QCDD (certified fire engineer).
NFPA 72 , NFPA 101 .
Fire systems manufacture certification (Carrier Fire System, EST3, EST4, Xtralis, AP sensing).
Project software like Auto-cad, and Primavera and advanced level of computer office skills.
Job Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
