Senior WSD Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Operations Manager – Water Supply Distribution is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the water supply distribution business unit. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies, processes, and procedures that support business goals and meet regulatory requirements. The manager will also be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. The position also maintains the provision of all safe industry standards, leading edge technological solutions to all projects at the lowest most efficient cost possible with safety, quality, and as per schedule.

Job Responsibilities 1

Lead the manpower supply business unit, ensuring that business goals are met.

Develops and implement operational strategies, processes, and procedures that support business goals and meet regulatory requirements.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of operational activities.

Analyze operational data and identify trends to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

Develop and maintains operational documentation, including policies, procedures, and user manuals.

Develop and implements operational training programs for staff and other users.

Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.

Manage operational security, ensuring that access is granted only to authorized users.

Develop and maintain metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and identify areas for improvement.

Manage external vendors, such as service providers, to support operational activities.

Manages the budget for operational activities ensuring that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with the local rules and regulations governing business operations.

Instill a high-performance safety culture throughout the organization.

Manage daily operations of monitoring the work executed by the engineering team at site and prepare interims and completion project reports

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership experience in operations management water supply distribution industry.

Strong knowledge of operational principles and practices.

Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies, Experience in analyzing operational data

and identifying trends to improve operational processes

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
