Job Summary

    The Solutions and PMO manager will work to increase the effectiveness of organizational project management processes and toolset by working with leadership and staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implementing change to take advantage of those opportunities.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop and maintain the IT solutions roadmap and portfolio, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives and business priorities.

    Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

    Establish and enforce project management methodologies, processes, and best practices to optimize project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

    Provide leadership and direction to the Project Management Office (PMO) team, including project managers, analysts, and coordinators, to ensure consistent and successful project execution.

    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and sponsors, ensuring clear alignment with business goals and requirements.

    Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and take proactive measures to mitigate risks and resolve issues to keep projects on track.

    Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and alignment of project activities.

    Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, schedules, and status reports, to ensure transparency and accountability.

    Facilitate project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in project management processes.

    Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, progress, and performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Profound understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches to effectively oversee diverse IT projects.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex project requirements, risks, and constraints, enabling informed decision-making throughout project lifecycles.

Exceptional leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide project teams towards successful project completion.

Comprehensive knowledge of IT solutions and technologies to provide strategic direction and ensure alignment between project deliverables and organizational objectives.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders, including executives, clients, and technical teams, fostering collaboration and achieving project success.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or any related field
