Laundry Attendant

Job Summary

To ensure that all laundry is properly and efficiently laundered and that the departments stock of clean linens, tools and supplies is maintained

Job Responsibilities 1

Check all items for damage or stains and take appropriate action to rectify these issues.

Report immediately to the superiors in case any valuable items like cash, jewellery, creidt cards etc. found in guests cloth pockets.

Responsible to processes the guests clothing on the correct equipment / machines using the appropriate chemicals and temperature.

Properly fold all linens to the Predator Ridge standard

Ensure the Housekeeping team has adequate clean linens and tools

Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including machines

Ensure all machine defects are promptly reported to the Manager or Supervisor

Manually transport and distribute large loads of laundry to predesignated locations

Handle chemicals in a responsible manner

Communicate effectively with team members and guests in a courteous and professional manner

Be able to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and requirements

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge in email communication as well as Microsoft Office and WindowsKnowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.Knowledge of stain treatment in order to utilize the best strategies to remove the stain on each individual article.Understand operation and function of laundry machines

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
