Job Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible to maximize the revenue and profitability of a hotel, resort, or other hospitality establishment by optimizing the pricing and distribution of rooms and services. The roles plays a vital part in ensuring that the property achieves its financial goals while maintaining competitive pricing and delivering value to guests.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize hotel revenue and profitability across all revenue streams, including rooms, food and beverage, and ancillary services.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to forecast demand and optimize pricing and inventory availability.
Monitor and adjust pricing strategies, including dynamic pricing and rate parity, to ensure competitiveness and maximize revenue potential.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and e-distribution teams to develop integrated strategies that drive demand and increase market share.
Utilize revenue management systems and tools to track performance metrics, analyze data, and generate insights that inform decision-making.
Conduct regular revenue meetings with department heads to review performance, identify opportunities, and address challenges.
Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, and distribution partners to maximize revenue opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
Monitor and manage distribution channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking channels, to optimize inventory distribution and pricing.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue from group bookings, including negotiating contracts, managing room blocks, and maximizing ancillary revenue.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technology advancements in revenue management to maintain competitiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Job Knowledge
Proficiency in revenue management principles and techniques, including demand forecasting, pricing optimization, and inventory management.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, analyze market trends, and identify revenue opportunities and challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge of revenue management systems and tools, such as revenue management software and business intelligence platforms.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop and implement effective revenue management strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
