Senior Commercial Operations M&E Analyst

Job Summary

The Senior Commercial Operations Monitoring and Evaluation Analyst collects and analyses data across the relevant business categories to make informed decisions or assist other members and leadership in making sound decisions. To support the commercial team by monitoring retail, concession, real estate performance, analyzing sales and operational data, and generating insights that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and compliance across airport concessionaires.

Job Responsibilities 1

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

• • Collect, validate, and analyze data from SAP, CRM, and POS systems
  • Prepare regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on commercial performance
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales and operational data

2. Commercial Performance Monitoring

• Track and report key KPIs, including Sales performance, ATV (Average Transaction Value), Number of transactions, Sales per passenger (SPP), Sales per sqm,
• Compare performance across periods (seasonal, monthly, yearly),
• Highlight underperformance and recommend corrective actions

3. Business Insights & Analytics

• Apply different types of analytics: Descriptive: Analyze historical data and performance trends, Diagnostic: Identify causes behind performance changes, Predictive: Support forecasting based on data patterns, Prescriptive (basic level): Suggest actionable improvements

• Support management in prioritizing business actions based on insights

4. Commercial Optimization

• Monitor the performance for the opportunities such as: Promotions and campaigns, Product mix improvements Sales focus areas

• Support implementation and evaluation of commercial initiatives

5. Data Integrity & Systems Coordination

• Act as a coordination point between concessionaires, IT, and Finance teams
• Ensure timely and accurate POS data integration and uploads
• Monitor data consistency between POS systems and financial reports
• Assist in resolving discrepancies and data-related issues

6. Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination

• Follow up with concessionaires to ensure adherence to reporting requirements
• Support communication through meetings, reports, and formal notices
• Escalate non-compliance issues to senior management when needed

7. Dashboard & System Enhancement

• Maintain and enhance dashboard visuals and reporting tools
• Work with BI/IT teams to ensure systems function effectively
• Support improvements in data structure and reporting automation

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with SAP, CRM systems and Excel (advanced level) Familiarity with BI tool is a plus.
• Strong communication skills 

Job Experience

Minimum 3-5 years in data analysis, retail or commercial roles. Preferably in experience with SAP, CRM systems and Excel (advanced level) Familiarity with BI, AI tool is a plus.
