Job Summary
The Senior Stationary Equipment Foreman is responsible to oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and operation of stationary equipment in industrial settings. They are responsible for leading a team of technicians and mechanics in maintaining and servicing various stationary equipment such as boilers, generators, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems. Additionally, Senior Stationary Equipment Foremen coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Their primary goal is to maximize the reliability, efficiency, and lifespan of stationary equipment to support operational needs and minimize downtime.
Job Responsibilities 1
Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities for stationary equipment, including boilers, generators, pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems, to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
Lead and manage a team of technicians and mechanics, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and overseeing their work to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for stationary equipment, conducting regular inspections and servicing to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Identify and diagnose equipment malfunctions or failures, coordinating with team members to perform troubleshooting and repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during maintenance activities, conducting safety inspections, providing training, and enforcing safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Conduct testing, calibration, and performance checks on stationary equipment to verify proper operation and compliance with specifications and standards.
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance and repair activities, ensuring availability and timely procurement as needed.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and work orders, preparing reports and documentation for compliance and management review.
Coordinate with engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades, modifications, or retrofitting projects to enhance performance, efficiency, and safety.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in maintenance operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to optimize equipment reliability and performance.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in the operation, maintenance, and repair of various types of stationary equipment, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians, delegating tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment to achieve maintenance objectives effectively.
Skill in diagnosing equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions to resolve issues and minimize downtime.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures, ensuring that maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulations and industry standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
Effective communication abilities to interact with team members, management, and external stakeholders, conveying technical information clearly and facilitating collaboration for successful maintenance operations.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
