Job Summary

The Travel Contracting Specialist will be responsible for negotiating and securing contracts with hotels, transportation providers, and local suppliers to ensure seamless land arrangements for clients. This role requires a keen understanding of destination management, supplier relations, and cost-effective contracting strategies to enhance the company’s product offerings.

Job Responsibilities 1

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure long-term collaboration.

Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with hotels, transport companies, and local suppliers.

Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis to secure the best deals.

Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance service offerings.

Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and service levels are met.

Handle contract renewals and renegotiations as needed.

Collaborate with the product and sales teams to create attractive packages and land services.

Develop unique and competitive travel products by leveraging local suppliers and partnerships.

Ensure all contracts align with budget requirements and company cost strategies.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Job Responsibilities 2

Work closely with operations to ensure supplier contracts align with operational needs.

Assist with handling supplier-related issues to ensure a smooth travel experience for clients.
Assist with full land arrangements upon client arrival, including airport pickups, hotel check-ins, and itinerary coordination.

Ensure all travel activities align with company requirements and regulatory standards.

Provide regular updates to senior management on travel activities, progress, and status.

Establish relevant and timely communication with internal and external customers to ensure performance standards are met.

Stay updated on market trends, emerging destinations, and new service offerings.

Provide insights and recommendations on expanding supplier networks.

Ensure compliance with travel regulations and safety standards.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contracts and optimize travel expenses.

experience working with DMCs, hotels, and local suppliers.

Strong network of industry contacts.

Knowledge of travel technology and booking platforms to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with travelers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access)

Job Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
