Job Summary

    The Production Manager manages and coordinates activities of production workers. To assist in managing the daily production operations and ensure safety guidelines and Company standards are enforces at all times. This position ensures that that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

    Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.

    Develops and executes production plan.

    Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job

    results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and

    procedures.

    Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and

    equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting

    procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a

    spirit of cooperation within and between departments.

    Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities;

    monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production

    summaries.

    Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

    Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and

    data; answering questions and responding to requests.

    Create and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.

    Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

    Maintain working relationship with the union by following the terms of the collective bargaining agreement.

    Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.

    Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

Job Knowledge

Comprehensive understanding of production processes, equipment, and workflows in the water supply and distribution industry.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills to oversee production teams, allocate resources, and ensure operational efficiency.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot issues, optimize production schedules, and minimize downtime.

Effective communication skills to coordinate with maintenance staff, management, and other departments for smooth production operations.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related Engineering course
