Job Summary

    The Warehouse Supervisor supervises daily activities of warehouse to ensure safe and efficient storage and retrieval of products/materials to meet the business’s operational and customer demand. The role assists the management in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment and ensures that the warehouse personnel complies with health, safety and standard operating procedures.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Maintain the optimum utilization and upkeep of warehouse storage facilities.

    Organize, facilitate and manage stock takes at regular intervals.

    Maintain Company’s integrated inventory management system data base to ensure its accuracy, standardization and completeness.

    Manage the daily inventory operations and ensures that they are in compliance with approved policies and procedures.

    Lead the follow up and resolve customer concerns, whilst identifies errors and eliminate root cause using robust countermeasures.

    Work closely with warehouse management to implement warehouse and management systems and integrate best practices and continuous improvement.

    Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the operation whilst ensuring continuous customer service.

    Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes, complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.

    Perform various inventory counts, order supplies and goods as needed.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of the types of materials stored in the Warehouse.

Knowledge in storekeeping and warehousing practices including use of pertinent software operations and maintaining accurate records.

Knowledge in warehouse control, inventory control and related duties. Knowledge in Office MS, ERP Good communication skills.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Logistics related course or any related field
